What a fun 1st birthday cake smash it was for baby girl Claire: pretty quiet trail surrounded by trees, birds jumping from branch to branch, lots of cute little spots to explore, and with the family always by her side!
You can’t even imagine how excited and honored I was when Jen said that they would love me to be their photographer to capture this special time! This trust means so much to me. I wanted to make sure they get the best experience and have fun. So we started planning right away: where, how, what theme? My advice is: choose what is fun and exciting for your family!
Bill and Jen recently moved here to Los Angeles from New York City. What a transition, right?! But when they all love being outdoors, what better place could they choose? Hills, trails, beaches, mountains along with an amazing weather all year round – perfect! So of course it was obvious that we would take photos outside. A park was such a lovely idea but we agreed that for a 3 year old Andrew it might be a little tough to resist a playground nearby. Who would have, huh?? =) So after a few other options, they loved this gorgeous little spot.
Claire is an amazing little girl: happy, loving, strong, and full of life! I couldn’t help but smile every time I saw her running around with such joy. And how cute it was to see when her big brother was sharing the cool rocks he found for her, and then how they both goofed around, and shared her yummy cake. Check out when the whole family dove into the cake too! Such fun memories to share and look back to.
