I got a chance to photograph an intimate and truly beautiful elopement at Santa Barbara Courthouse recently! Surrounded by the beauty of nature and hills, with a light ocean breeze, Aron and Lia said “I do.” Their immediate family, including Aron’s parents, brother, and Lia’s children, were there to witness and share in their joy.

But let’s rewind a bit and explore how this beautiful journey began. You see, there’s something undeniably charming about love stories that start online. They promise adventure, surprise, and the possibility of finding your soulmate. As Lia puts it, “The first guy I reached out to online was the one I’m going to marry :)” That initial spark set the stage for six years of shared laughter and unforgettable moments.

Both Lia and Aron call Southern California their home. Lia, a wanderlust at heart, found her calling in the travel industry, feeding her passion for exploring the world. Aron, on the other hand, is all about fitness, and his boundless energy perfectly complements Lia’s adventurous spirit. They share not only life’s adventures but also a sweet tooth for sour candy and a taste for Grey Goose mixed with pineapple juice. Their favorite way to unwind? A dinner and a night at the movies, which they both adore. They complement each other in the most heartwarming way.
