What an absolutely amazing family photo session in the desert garden I had recently!
Jeff and Janice are a beautiful couple with a sweet boy Marcos who is soon going to be 4. They grew up in Northern California but moved here to SoCal over a decade ago for Jeff’s work: to be one of our honorable first responders, a firefighter. Janice worked in the surrogacy field for years. After having a wonderful pregnancy with Marcos, Janice wanted to help one sweet family to be parents. So she became a surrogate mother and gave birth to a baby boy back in 2019. What an incredible gift, isn’t it? Their son Marcos is “all boy”, very animated and excited about everything. He likes to make silly faces, and make people laugh. Oh, he is also obsessed with Toy Story and wants to dress as a cowboy all day every day (why not, right??). When Janice said that he “keeps us on our toes, to say the least”, I totally got them having my own son of the same age 🙂
As a family, they love traveling, experiencing different cultures, tasting different foods, meeting new people (my gosh, how much I love it too!). They are also very active: hiking, biking, trying new restaurants, seeing new beaches, gardens, and other fun places. One fantastic family for sure!
When we were talking about our photo session, they really wanted the desert garden, with lots of succulents and greenery. But most of all, they wanted to have all the joy and love that they share. We had a blast, just see it yourself in the photos below! =)
