I had an absolutely magical garden engagement in the Los Angeles area recently!
Cheyne and Mia have this special aura around them. You can feel the invisible confidence, love, strength, and admiration that they have for one another. It is the kind of love that grows stronger and deeper with time.
I always ask my couples to describe one another, and I was truly in awe hearing how strongly they felt about each other.
Mia: “Cheyne is patient, kind, empathic, genuine, intelligent, open, resilient, and very funny. Cheyne makes me feel seen in a way that no one has before. He lifted me up, supported me, and has walked with me through my darkest and brightest moments. He walks next to me as equals and believes in my abilities when I don’t believe in them myself. He is everything to me and I thank God for him and the ways he has changed my life.”
Cheyne: “Mia is a lover. She is the best friend anyone can have. She is the first person to be there for someone and lend a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and an open heart to love. She is my moon and my stars, my sunshine, and the air I breathe. Mia makes everything better in life, and I am a much better person for having met her. She is the first person to say that she is proud of me and she has been by my side and supported me. Mia is extremely fun, filled with spirit, and very easy-going. She is my angel sent from above, my other half, and I could not exist without God and her. Mia has taught me what true love is.”
Do you get what I’m talking about now?!
After knowing each other for 5 years, Cheyne proposed in a very special to them way. They love sports very much, so one beautiful day they were at Dodger Stadium with amazing seats behind the dugout. Cheyne recalls: “After I got down on one knee and she said yes, the fans were cheering and going wild as if there had been a home run. My sisters and family were happy and excited about it. I was excited, nervous, and anxious before and during the proposal. After I proposed, I was elated and happy, and I couldn’t contain myself. I wanted to scream as loud as I could at the top of a mountain, professing my lifelong love I have for her”.
Now they are ready to celebrate it all at their wedding in just another month, with their loved ones by their side.
But for now, let’s soak in this exciting time in their lives and their beautiful engagement in this amazing garden! Thank you so much for having me, dear Mia and Cheyne! I can’t wait to capture your big day!!
