What an amazing family photo session I had among beautiful sunlit hills near Thousand Oaks!

I love getting to know my families as it always helps me capture them in a unique, true to them way! Hunter and Alisha are both from Southern California. They met at UCLA during undergrad, have been together for 14 years and married for 10 out of those. They got a chance to travel and live in a few different places too. They lived in Hawaii for a few years where they welcomed their daughter Scarlett into this world. Then they moved to NYC for a short time before settling here in the Conejo Valley when they were expecting their baby boy Leo. 

Hunter and Alisha enjoy the beach, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Alisha described Scarlett as very outgoing and eager to become friends with everyone she meets. And I surely saw it right away: she just swept me away with her sweet smiles and enthusiasm in sharing what she likes to do and play with! As for little Leo who is 2 years old, once he got used to me and the new place where we took their photos, he was excited to explore and shared the sweetest smiles and laughs with me!

I absolutely loved it how fun and loving they were to each other! And would you believe me if I said that at the end of our photo session, Hunter lifted Alisha and both kids all at the same time with just his muscles?? Just see it yourself in the last photos below! =)
