Jamison & Chloe | Breathtaking Deer Creek Ridge wedding in Malibu

This breathtaking Deer Creek Ridge wedding in Malibu couldn’t be more perfect: lots of love, tears of joy, and smiles, all under the Californian sun with breathtaking views of the Pacific ocean.

2020 has certainly been full of surprises and changed plans. And I was so happy for Chloe and Jamison when they told me they were still able to make their wedding happen!

You may remember them from their gorgeous Malibu Mountains Engagement session earlier this summer. If you haven’t seen it, make sure to take a peek as it has a little story on how they met and what movie they used as an excuse to hang out together at first 😉

This doesn’t happen at every wedding that I photograph, but I love it when the toasts end and I feel like I have a deeper understanding of who the bride and groom are. Chloe’s father, and sister, and Jamison’s mother shared beautiful memories of the two of them that allowed me to feel like I knew them better. And the way Jamison hugged Chloe who was missing her recently deceased mom dearly, especially that day, just melted my heart! It reassured me that she undoubtedly has a strong shoulder to lean on by her side.

They had their ceremony at the beautiful St. Mary Magdalen Church in Camarillo followed by an intimate celebration at Deer Creek Ridge in Malibu, among the hills with sunshine and the ocean breeze playing in their hair. Everything was magic! So now, please sit down comfortably to enjoy my favorites from this amazing day! And please forgive me, I blogged way too many. I just had a hard time narrowing it down!
