This 1st Birthday cake smash and family photo session in Moorpark was beyond adorable!

I’ve known Zaina from Mommy and me classes as her daughter Lilly and my son are close in age and I was beyond honored when she asked me to photograph Lilly’s 1st Birthday at their home. It was so great to get to know them more! They are from Palestine, Zaina is a graphic designer, and her husband Hany works as a biochemical scientist.

Lilly’s birthday theme was Unicorns and pink – so cute! Zaina blew me away when she said she baked EVERYTHING from that amazing dessert table you see in those photos. Absolutely incredible, isn’t it?

It was lovely to capture Lilly with her Mom and Dad, as well as her grandparents Nuha and Adil, and hearing them sing happy birthday to Lilly! And just look how much she loved the cake that her mama made! With a huge smile and covered almost from head to toe! 🙂
