This wedding at Good Shepherd Church in Camarillo was like from a fairytale!
With a pretty garden in full bloom.
With our bride Naomi who is like a gorgeous princess, sweet and kind.
With bridesmaids bright as the gold that they were wearing, flittering like little birds around Naomi to help her get ready to meet her man.
With our groom Nick who is definitely like a handsome knight in shining armor who will do anything for his lady.
With groomsmen who are his loyal companions.
That kind of fairytale. Just magical, right?
You might remember Naomi and Nick from their Santa Barbara Engagement photo session. Their beautiful love story is there too! And now it’s time for their big day that they’ve waited so long for.
Their first look was intimate and special: they shared how excited and happy they were to be wed very soon. I loved how they had letters for each other before the ceremony too. Naomi also had a very touching first look with her dad before he walked her down the aisle. Their ceremony place is very dear to Naomi because that’s where she has her church family. There were countless loving words, smiles, and laughs shared throughout the whole day!
“At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over and life is like a song, oh yeah
At last the skies above are blue
My heart was wrapped up clover the night I looked at you
I found a dream that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to press my cheek to
A thrill I’ve never known, oh yeah
You smiled, you smiled oh and then the spell was cast
And here we are in Heaven
For you are mine at last…”
This song played during their first dance and fit their love like no other song indeed.
Nick, Naomi, what an amazing day of yours I got to witness and share with you! What an honor it was for me to be in the presence of such a God-filled space, and to be able to capture the pure love of yours. You two are an amazing couple and I wish you nothing but the best in your happily ever after together!
