This Cyprus vacation was our little getaway to rest our soul and mind, spend precious time with my mom, and have her enjoy her little grandson’s company.
Why did we choose Cyprus? Given what we wanted, it seemed to be the best! Great white sand beach with amazing warm aquamarine blue water, yummy food, no getting special visas, within a 3-4 hour flight from Moscow maximum. As much as I would love it, it wasn’t a trip to explore the island or dive into any historic landmarks sightseeing. We had only a few days, lots of travel already done and ahead of us, and a super active 2-year-old to keep us busy 🙂 So we did our best to just soak in the sun and freshen up while enjoying watching Brixton have fun.
We stayed in Ayia Napa which, rumor said, had the best beaches. Indeed we weren’t disappointed! Some spots did have rocks but they were close to the rocky parts of the shore and didn’t bother much. Also knowing from myths that the goddess of love Aphrodite was born from the foam on this island, I’d say it all added extra beauty to the scenery. I love things like this, you know me 😉
Food was also amazing! Our hotel had such a great selection to try that I seriously started getting worried about having too much! Who knows me well surely knows how much I love cheese. So grilled cheese Halloumi, salty Kefalotyri, and Anari were my love from the first sight! Gyro meat with their pita bread with some amazing tzatziki sauce on it (it’s made from yogurt, fresh cucumber, and garlic) was my other weak spot. And their olives, sugary sweet watermelons, and melons just added to the whole wonderful experience!
But enough words, here are a couple of photos to take you to Cyprus with us!
Gorgeous pics! 😎❤️🌊
