*S* Family Christmas in-home photo session Part 1 | Westlake Village Photographer

I have no words to describe how in love I am with this beautiful family and their Christmas in-home photo session!

Karina and Znenya are the sweetest people ever: very kind, loving, and amazing parents. We got to know each other last year when I had the honor to photograph their family for the first time. And since then we became friends. I’m always amazed at how well rounded they both are: constantly learning languages, business, art, different classes like piano, pottery etc. Karina cooks absolutely delicious food from the recipes I’ve never even heard about. They like travelling as well which I always love hearing about: all the fun stories!

This is their first Christmas in a new home. What a precious time, right? And it’s even more precious because of what was happening earlier this month with the horrific fires around. During that time we were constantly messaging each other, supporting and offering help even though both of us evacuated. But it means so much, right? All that time it felt like not days but weeks and months passed by. Lots of homes were lost. But there is a happy end to it because our families’ homes were both spared which we are beyond thankful for.

Now with Christmas around the corner, our home and family feel even more precious. But most important of all is to know that no matter what, home is where our family is. Always have and always will.
