I had an honor to photograph a very special family recently for their holiday photos. Natasha and I got to know each other within the Russian community in our neighborhood.

When I moved here to California, it took me quite some time to adapt. It’s amazing how much it means to find people who you are able to get along with almost instantly. The ones who not only share the same language with you but also make you feel like you’ve been good friends forever (even though you just met)! Natasha was always so friendly and welcoming, sharing her friendship and support. We would talk about our life and travels when we get together in our “Girls night outs” =)

Eric and Natasha have a big family all around and love visiting each other – so fun! The older kids are all in their studies so sweet little Elizabeth was the only one I knew. But that day, I finally got to meet them all and as you can see we had a blast! =)
