I recently had the pleasure of capturing this beautiful family in a lovely and very picturesque cacti garden in the Conejo Valley.

Clara is a sweet mother is 4 children. She is from Oxnard and works for the Ventura Superior Court. Brandon is an EMT. They got very exciting news: they recently got married and are now a lovely family of 6! Let’s also meet the kids. There are 3 boys: teenagers Marvin and Melvin, and, younger of the trio, 8-year-old Tony. Adding a touch of sweetness to the mix is little Camila, a charming 2-year-old girl.

The photo session was a long time coming. The last time they posed for a family pic was when the oldest boys were in elementary school so Clara really wanted to capture those precious moments before the kids grow up too fast and start leaving the home.

Clara really liked this incredible cacti garden, and let me tell you, when the golden hour hit it, it was like pure magic. The whole place got lit by this warm, dreamy light. We captured what she really wanted: the whole family together, her and the kids, and her and Brandon as a happy married couple.
