I photographed such a gorgeous intimate wedding in Thousand Oaks recently!

You may remember Daniel and Ellie from their sweet beach engagement session near Ventura just a few days before their wedding day. They live in Texas and traveled here to California for their celebration for that week. Ellie is from Thousand Oaks and she always wanted to have a wedding here surrounded by family. Originally they had a big celebration planned, but due to the pandemic, they had to change it to a more intimate style.

The whole day couldn’t have been more perfect; the place, the weather, the people… It took place at a private residence, with the ceremony by an amazingly tall beautiful tree. It felt like this wedding day was a big warm family reunion:
with the parents looking proudly at their kids,
with the bride and groom shining like rays of sunshine all day long,
with siblings, uncles, aunts, and cousins cheering for them,
and with three of the most adorable little girls running around and brightening the whole day with their bursting energy and smiles.
