What a gorgeous beach engagement near Ventura I recently had. On a perfectly warm day with the light ocean breeze and absolutely stunning sunset!

Daniel and Ellie are one of the sweetest couples I photographed. They live in Texas and traveled here to California to have their wedding soon. Ellie is originally from Thousand Oaks so she wanted to have a celebration here surrounded by family.

You never know how you will find your love. In Ellie and Daniel’s case, they found each other online playing video games! The Internet is such a great way to connect people, isn’t it? =)

Daniel was swept away with how sweet, goofy, and outgoing Ellie was. And Ellie just fell in love with how kind, caring, hardworking and funny Daniel was. The more they got to know each other, the more they fell in love… And after dating for about a year, one day they were sitting on the couch talking about how much their lives have changed since then. Daniel talked about how happy he was in life and how he could not wait to start a family with Ellie. So then Ellie jokingly asked, “Ok, where is the ring?” To her surprise, he immediately pulled it out right in front of her! Isn’t it just the sweetest? Of course, she said yes =)

Originally they had a big celebration planned, but due to the pandemic, they had to change it. Nonetheless, here they are, so happy and in love, excited to become one family in just a few days!
