This black tie Los Angeles engagement was truly a dream!

Andy and Alyssa have it all: so madly in love, with the sweetest hearts, and so joyful and beautiful together, inside and out! They are both from Thousand Oaks and Simi Valley areas but actually met through an online dating app. Moreover, they had matched seven times before they had their first date! Talking about fate here? 😉

Alyssa said she knew instantly there was a spark with Andy’s calm and strong demeanor. And Andy said how much he loved Alyssa’s kind and warm personality. They both love animals, and having new experiences, and making lots of fun memories. I also adored how Alyssa described Andy as humourous, logical, sentimental, and romantic, while Andy described Alyssa as feisty, kind, sweet, and rambunctious. Aren’t they just meant for each other??

The proposal was also very loving! Andy had just gotten back from a camping trip and discovered the ring he had ordered had just come in the mail. He was originally going to propose to Alyssa on her birthday but decided he couldn’t wait. He took Alyssa to California Pizza Kitchen where they had their first date. Andy was so nervous and he couldn’t wait so he proposed outside the restaurant. Alyssa couldn’t believe it but when she saw the ring, there were no doubts left!

For their engagement photos, we went on a gorgeous trail with rolling hills, blooming flowers, a beautiful rock formation, and pine trees. They absolutely ROCKED our session: with lots of loving words for each other, warmest hugs, smiles, and laughs. By the way, don’t they just look a-m-a-z-i-n-g in these black tie outfits?? Seriously like movie stars!
