Karina is such a loving gentle soul. The bohemian birthday party that she had in beautiful Nobu Malibu, fit her mood so well! Surrounded by ocean and mountains, she celebrated life and peace. It feels like even the weather wanted her to have a magical day: in between the cold spells and rain, we all enjoyed the perfect sunshine and warmth that day.

If you meet Karina even once, you can’t not fall in love with her sweetest smile. She genuinely cares about other people’s lives and feelings. At the party she wanted everyone to relax and have a great time, so she invited a henna artist, a tarot card reader, and an energy healing specialist. Because we all need some time just to have fun! She also had such pretty decor around: a great mix of flowers, pillows, frames, and ornaments.  Her bohemian birthday cake was a masterpiece! And what an amazing idea of a beautiful flower arch as a photo booth so that everyone had a great time taking pictures there.

Naturally it was no surprise to see that day how her husband and all of her family and friends wanted to make Karina feel extra special giving her plenty of hugs and kisses. Karina also had a surprise waiting for her from some family and friends that live far away and couldn’t make it to the party. So they all sent her lovely videos with their birthday wishes which we saw that day!

There was also another surprise for Karina earlier that week. She once mentioned to her husband Zhenya that one song brings her lots of joy when she hears it. So on her birthday evening Zhenya snuck her away from home. He tied her eyes so she didn’t know a thing! He prepared a glass of champagne and walked her into some room. When she finally took the band off her eyes, she couldn’t believe it: she was at a concert hall, and on stage there was Zhenya by the piano and three other musicians with a guitar and violins playing that song for her! How romantic is that?? Zhenya invited a videographer to capture it all so we all enjoyed watching that video at the party.

It was definitely an amazing day filled with lots of smiles and happiness.
